New Farm House

Conceived as a garden pavilion, this project is connected to an existing brick and tile family home in New Farm. The form eschews traditional lightweight vernacular, instead pursuing a strategy of heavy masonry walls, courtyards, and operable screens to provide deep shading and maximised ventilation, complimentary to both the existing building, and the sub-tropical climate.
