The Tide Is High

Auckland, New Zealand. 2018.

An awarded commission to design a gateway to an open-air sculpture trail, this faceted, interlocking structure is formed from a single component shape, and can be easily disassembled and relocated elsewhere.

Exploring the notion of radial symmetry, this demountable pavilion has since featured at a number of arts and sculpture exhibitions across New Zealand.

Working with artists Cut Collective and lighting designer Novii, the reciprocal frame structure has acted as a three-dimensional canvas for showcasing a variety of different artworks.
